Abstract
A new polyoxometalate (POM)-based compound, [CuIbtpe]{[CuIbtpe]4[H3W12O40]} (1), [btpe=1,5-bis(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)pentane], has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction and single crystal X-ray diffraction. Specially, compound 1 shows a unique POM-based entangled structure, namely consisting of both pseudo-polyrotaxane and interdigitated motifs. Additionally, in contrast to free btpe ligand, compound 1 exhibits an enhanced luminescent property, attributed to an internal heavy metal effect.
