Abstract

University High School (UHS) students participating in the Global Information & Future Technologies Magnet Program (GIFT) will be able to learn more about the expanding technology based industries close to our campus. Students may learn about fascinating technology with the help of our business partners who provide field experts to help us educate our students. Our partners work with UHS teachers to develop curriculum involving the high tech worlds of computer graphics, medical imaging, light wave communications, optics and lasers, information technologies, web or network design, and entertainment or military simulations. Field trips, speakers, internship and classes will revolve around these topics.University High School (UHS) students participating in the Global Information & Future Technologies Magnet Program (GIFT) will be able to learn more about the expanding technology based industries close to our campus.
