Abstract
Apparently, little or no work has been done on the biology of the lubber grasshopper, Brachystola magna (Girard). However, the large size of this species and its possible economic importance (Isely 1938, Parker. 1933, Coppock 1962) suggest that its use in laboratory studies might be advantageous. The present paper reports the results of rearing B. magna and notes on its development.
