Abstract
Dr Andrew Cavey graduated in medicine from Oxford University in 2002 and gained a masters degree in public health from Harvard in 2004. After house jobs in Bath and Oxford he worked in Liberia with Médecins du Monde (MDM) and as a consultant to Physicians for Human Rights on a fact finding mission in Uganda. On his return to the United Kingdom he took up a position at Charing Cross Hospital in London as a senior house officer in accident and emergency. He is now following a medical rotation at St Mary9s Hospital, London.
