Abstract

Neue Brücken: Ein dreifach verbrückender Oxoborylligand entstand bei der Umsetzung des μ3-Borylenkomplexes [{Cp*Ru(μ-H)}3(μ3-PhCCH)(μ3-BH)] (Cp*=η5-C5Me5) mit H2O (siehe Schema). Der Mehrfachbindungscharakter der B-O-Bindung wurde durch Röntgenkristallographie, Spektroskopie und DFT-Rechnungen aufgeklärt. Die Protonierung des μ3-BO-Komplexes zu einem kationischen μ3-Hydroxyborylenkomplex bestätigt die stark polarisierte Natur der B+-O−-Bindung.
