Abstract
A single-feed single-layer triple-band substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) antenna operating in millimeter wave (mmWave) band with dual-sense circular polarization is presented. The polarization states at three bands are right-hand circular polarization(RHCP), vertical polarization and left-hand circular polarization(LHCP) respectively. The proposed antenna consists of circular patch radiator, annular-ring slot radiator and SIW transmission line. The lower band (28 GHz) and middle band (33 GHz) are generated by the circular patch that at the center of the antenna. The annular-ring slot radiator generats upper band (38 GHz). The proposed antenna has characteristics of low-profile and simple structure.
