Abstract
Professor Marcin Opallo (Institute of Physical Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland) celebrated his 65th birthday in July 2021. This guest editorial dedicated to Marcin's jubilee and contribution to electrochemistry summarizes his career and recalls some stories beyond his scientific life.
