Abstract
A transmission γ-ray circular polarimeter has been developed for the measurement of the sign of magnetic moments of radioactive nuclei with low-temperature nuclear orientation. The signs of the magnetic moments were determined for 30h193Os (+), 4.9s191mIr (+), 74 d192Ir (+), 19h194Ir (+) and 4.0 d195mPt (−).
