Abstract
This is the synthesis of a dissertation that has occurred in tlie Faculdade de Educação da USP. This paper proposes a reflection about a great valuable point so important to pedagogy: thcacher and student relationship. We have wanted to understand what this relation represents to the pedagogy and in what propositions itself bases on. Since the beginning, the psychoanalysis was the theoretical support that it has lead us to the analysis of the chosen texts. In addition, the main point of this reflection was, especially, the psychoanalytical concept of transference. Actually, this was the reflection's axis. This present paper presents a wide criticism analysis about pedagogical concept of teacher and student relationship and a psychoanalytical reading about this supposed relation.
