Abstract

Allergic immune responses generally involve generation of antigen-specific type 2 CD4+ T cells and production of IgE antibodies. A transcription factor B lymphocyte-induced maturation protein-1 (Blimp1) regulates plasma cell development and effector functions of T cells. However, little information is available regarding the roles of Blimp1 in allergic immune responses.
