Abstract

ABSTRACTThis paper reports implementation of a wideband microwave band reject filter (BRF) at a centre frequency of 10 GHz which is based on a new principle of out of phase locking of a pair of Gunn oscillators by a reflected signal. The measured 3-dB bandwidth of the BRF is 486 MHz which is 4.86% of the centre frequency of the BRF with a rejection ratio of 7.08 dB. The bandwidth lies in between narrow band and ultrawide band domain.
