Abstract
This paper presents a new and unique DC analysis program for analog integrated circuits. The simulation program uses no iterative techniques and solves the DC operating point of a circuit by using a topological approach to drive the analysis. A library of node types found in analog circuits allows the simulation program to model groups of devices rather than single devices. The program mimics the actions of an experienced designer when analyzing a circuit by hand. Benchmark results of DCAANT are presented that show DCAANT can generate approximate values very fast.
