Abstract
The steady-state and time-resolved emissions of the carbazole-containing helical polymer poly-[N ε-(9-carbazolyl-carbonyl)-L-lysine] have been studied. Two well-resolved emission bands are observed. The low-energy band can be attributed to excimer species which are formed from species responsible for the high-energy band. A total of four emitting species is indicated.
