Abstract

Because of its importance in automation production, the construction of three-dimensional optical measurement system, based on binocular vision and phase projector, is paid more attentions. In order to avoid the errors from the Phase Shift and Gray Code, the Multi-frequency Heterodyne Principle (MHP) is applied in the system. Caused by the projection limitation of light measurement system and the defects produced by the measurement of large objects pasted the circular markers on the surface for multiple registration, an automatic registration technology based on SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform) without markers, constructing the three-dimensional optical measurement system with MHP and unmarked point stitching, getting the exact phase via fitting negative exponential and joining automatically by SIFT and SVD(Singular Value Decomposition), is proposed. The experimental results show that we are able to get the point cloud more accurately and achieve object automatic fusion faster by the system whose standard deviation is of less than 0.03 mm.
