Abstract

Three selected sera from multiparous women had a tendency to give strong mixed hemadsorption reactions with HeLa cells whereas certified non-HeLa lines were positive in a low or very low percentage. The use of this triplet of sera would very likely become useful for the identification of HeLa-cell contaminants.
