Abstract
A three-dimensional field solution is presented for axially polarized magnetic disks. The field components are expressed in terms of finite sums of elementary functions and are easily programmed. They can be used to determine the operating point of rare-earth multipole disk magnets. They are also useful for performing rapid parametric calculations of field strength as a function of material properties and dimensions.
