Abstract
Introduction: The goal of this classification is to help describe alveolar defects, early or late, in terms of bone and soft tissue. Anatomical three-dimensional assessment will help clinician discuss proposed treatment regimens and rationalize the use of implant and reconstructive techniques. We aim to standardize the terminology to allow for more accurate communication.
