Abstract

In this paper, the solidification of a binary solution on a cold isothermal surface will be studied by using an inetgral approximate method. The advantage of solving the solidification of a binary solution using an integral approximate method is that the mushy zone thickness will be able to be expressed as a simple algebraic equation which can be easily solved
