Abstract
A simple model has been proposed which explains enantiomeric resolution in capillary electrophoresis in terms of differential interactions with a chiral selector and differential migration of the two enantiomer-chiral selector complexes. The equations derived allow predictions to be made and there is good support for the model in literature data.
