Abstract

This letter proposes a blind reputation-based scheme for cooperative spectrum sensing in the presence of malicious users for cognitive radio networks. The users are dynamically categorized into three states, according to their current reputation. A theoretical analysis, corroborated by computers simulations, is carried out to evaluate the performance and optimize the tuning of the operating parameters, in comparison with two recent blind cooperative techniques. The results evidence the efficiency of our method for fast and reliable detection of malicious users in cognitive radio networks.
