Abstract

This study is concerned with investigating the rhetorical tools and strategies used by Obama in his speech to the Americans about "chemical weapons" allegedly used in Syria. Here, it tries to answer the following questions: a. What are the rhetorical tools that Obama employed in his speech to the nation? b- What are the functions of rhetorical questions in his speech? c.
