Abstract

In this paper, a fast Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar(ISAR) imaging technology for large size targets using the shooting and bouncing ray (SBR) method based on tetrahedral mesh is proposed. The new imaging method based on SBR images bistatic scattering field at a small angle, which makes computation time decreased. Also, the proposed tetrahedral meshed SBR method makes imaging of not only PEC target but also metal-medium hybrid target, even target with plasma outside, accessible.
