Abstract

A male infant was delivered at a gestational age of 37 weeks with a birth weight of 3174 g. Fetal scrotal swelling was detected at 32 weeks of gestation; hence, the mother was referred to our hospital at the 33rd week. The scrotum was 35 × 39 mm in size, with a uniform internal hyperechoic lesion detected on fetal ultrasonography. A unilocular mass was detected on magnetic resonance imaging, and a giant testicular tumor was suspected. At birth, the scrotum was enlarged (Fig. 1A), but his general condition was well.
