Abstract

This article describes 2 patient treatments in which a simple technique was used to realign teeth before restorative procedures. Elastic separators were used to tip the desired tooth into its original position. This restored a normal crown contour and improved the tooth's long-axis alignment. The procedure is simple and inexpensive, and treatment time relatively quick compared with other orthodontic procedures. (J Prosthet Dent 2002;88:544-7.)
