Abstract
The medicagoid Trigonella are a cohesive group of Old World species of much closer affinity to Medicago than to Trigonella. A numerical examination indicated that these are appropriately placed in two sections, each with a number of perceivable subdivisions. A key and illustrations to the 23 species recognized in this study are presented.
