Abstract

In three-dimensional space, the traditional algorithm of virtual force applies to continuous target tracking process is prone to problems of distraction and short time in keeping tracking of the target in the process of. This paper proposed a three-dimensional space deployment algorithm applies to continuous target tracking to solve these problems. The combine virtual force in this algorithm is generated by the inter-node force, the obstacle repulsive force, monitored-path attractive force and the tracking target together. It makes the target path covering evenly, continuous and sustained. Moreover, remove the coverage holes caused by following the continuous target. Performance of simulations show that, this algorithm obtains obvious improvement in continuous target tracking compared to the traditional virtual force, as it enhanced the effective time of tracking process and shorten the time of losing target.
