Abstract
Suspect counterfeit tablet coatings and cores have been examined and compared to authentic coatings and cores using attenuated total internal reflection Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FT-IR) spectroscopy. The analytical approach described in this study is currently employed on a routine basis by the Forensic Chemistry Center (FCC) as an initial screen prior to confirmatory analyses.https://doi.org/10.21423/jrs-v05n01p021 (DOI assigned 4/17/2019)
