Abstract

A complete software system for the analysis of objective-prism data has been developed in the framework of a collaboration between the Observatories of Trieste and Athens, and has been used successfully to process low-and medium-dispersion (2440 and 830 Å/mm at H γ, respectively) objective prism spectra taken with the 1.2m UK Schmidt Telescope in Australia. The system has been derived from a former one (Balestra et al. 1990) in terms of basic operations, and takes advantage of new data processing technologies.KeywordsBasic OperationLookup TableWorkshop ProceedingVert DataSpectral ClassisThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
