Abstract

Biomedical telemetry is an active and high attention research area in medical industry. Because biomedical telemetry is workable and practicable way to screen the physiological signs of the patient automatically in hospital. The automatic screening avoids the old-style arrangements like appointments and follow up. So only Implantable Medical Device (IMD)performs a significant role to patient observation with the help of wireless telemetry. IMDs are made up of implantable sensors and nodes, which primarily utilize antenna. The implantable sensors have many risks due-to implantable sensors should perform reliably and continuously; similarly, some of the parameters like miniaturization, patient safety biocompatibility, and low power consumption is considered during the IMD design. In the design of implantable sensors, choosing the antenna is a difficult problem, because the entire implant performs is based on that antenna. This research offers a thorough analysis of implanted antennas for biological use.
