Abstract

There exist various mathematical viewpoints from which fuzzy set theory can be examined. These circumstances are mainly due to the fact that pure lattice-valued maps do not completely determine a mathematical context. Depending on further mathematical ingredients added to the concept of lattice-valed maps, three fundamentally different mathematical aspects of fuzzy set theory are presented. >
