Abstract
Objective To study the life quality and its influencing factors of old people of the community in Urumqi, and to the effective measures to improve their life quality. Methods The life quality for 1 151 old people of the community in Urumqi was investigated by MOS SF -36 questionnaire and the main influencing factors were analyzed. Results 66. 30% old people of community have chronic diseases, The average score of life quality of the old people was 113.46±15.34, And keeping high, moderate and low llfe quality was 37. 62%, 57. 69%, 4. 70%, respectively. The main influencing factors of life quality of old people are age, education level, marital status, health status and economic income. Conclusion The llfe quality of these old people are high. It is suggested that health policy for the old people should be formulated to modify the affecting factors of life quality, and to develop the action in community, so as to improve life quality of the old people from general health.
