Abstract

With accelerating development of vocational education, traditional teaching methods can no longer meet the needs of higher vocational colleges, and a large number of new teaching models like flipped classrooms have emerged. This article takes the “Modern Information Technology” course in a higher vocational college in Huangshi as an example. A total of 108 students were surveyed, including 60 boys and girls and 108 questionnaires were distributed before the implementation of the project. Subsequently, the practice of flipped classroom was carried out. After the practice, the questionnaires were issued again. It turns out that, 34.55% of students like flipped classrooms very much, compared with traditional teaching. 50.91% of the students said they like flipped classroom; 14.55% of the students said that the effect of flipped classroom is average. After the practice of flipped classroom teaching, students have a positive attitude towards the flipped classroom teaching model, and 80% of students are more willing to add the Internet to the classroom.
