Abstract
Supraharmonics emitted from power electronic equipment can cause electromagnetic interference that may lead to EMC issues, incorrect operation of electric devices, PLC communication failure, etc. How to accurately monitor supraharmonics has become an important concern in modern power systems. In this paper, a supraharmonic measurement method based on matrix pencil with high-order mixed mean cumulant is proposed. The slice of fourth-order mixed mean cumulant of the measured signal is solved and applied to replace the original measured signal, and the matrix pencil method is used to reduce the interference of colored Gaussian noise. Numerical simulations and physical experiments are carried out and the proposal is compared with the IEC 61000-4-7 method and the TLS-ESPRIT method. It shows that the measurement method proposed in this paper has advantages in suppressing colored Gaussian noise interference with a high time resolution.
