Abstract
P.F. LONG AND G.E. AMPHLETT. 1996. An increase in the abundance and diversity of non‐streptomycete actinomycetes isolated from soils was achieved after the number of streptomycetes was reduced by pre‐incubating the soil with streptomycete‐specific actinophage. This method is described as a super lytic actinophage system.
