Abstract

A 64-year-old man with a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and alcohol and tobacco use disorder presented to the clinic with a rash of several weeks’ duration. The patient had erythematous annular patches with scaling borders on sun-exposed areas of his skin, including his lower arms and neck. He hadn’t started any new medications recently. Antinuclear antibody (ANA) and anti-Ro/SSA antibody tests came back positive.What’s your diagnosis?
