Abstract

Rationale: Intestinal transplantation is a recognised treatment (in isolation or in combination with liver) for selected individuals with complications of intestinal failure (IF) and parenteral nutrition (PN) however indications for these procedures are evolving. Outcomes are improving but the post-operative course remains challenging.
