Abstract
Because of the complexity of underwater acoustic data transmission channel for the design of the signal transmission system has brought great challenges, including the stand or fall of decoding circuit design seriously affects the data transmission rate and bit error rate. Manchester decoding because of its strong anti-interference ability is widely used in the field of industrial control network. In combination with the characteristics of acoustic data transmission on detecting the underwater targets of detection system. This paper designed a circuit which is applicable to the underwater acoustic data transmission system based on the Manchester encoding and decoding method and realized the function of encoding and decoding on CPLD by using the VHDL language. The experiment results given by the MAX+PLUS II numerical simulation under certain rate and laboratory test shows that the stability and reliability of data transmission are guaranteed by using strong anti-interference and clock recovery ability of mature Manchester encoding and decoding technology, the effectiveness and feasibility of decoding circuit design is proved.
