Abstract

A Suggested Solution for Torsion Problem of Homogeneous Prismatic Bar.(Dept.P)

Highlights

  • 1- INTROPUCTION In modem industry, there are many kinds ofarusotropic materials which are natural like wood or syn theri c like polymers, g,lass~ fiber. or reinforced plastic

  • There are several works o n the theory o f pure torsion, and among these are large Ulonograph men tioned by Lekhnitskii

  • 2- SIATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM Consi der the conti nuously homogeneous prismatic bar, which is cut from a hollow cylinder having inner raclius (a) and Ollter radi us ( b). the prism's cross section is a circuJa.r sector having angle (0)

Summary

Introduction

1- INTROPUCTION In modem industry, there are many kinds ofarusotropic materials which are natural like wood or syn theri c like polymers, g,lass~ fiber. or reinforced plastic. This work introduces a numerical soluti on fo r pure torsion problem of homogeneous. A pure torsion problem is stated and solved fo r a rod having curvili near quadrangle cross section , while itS material is linearly anisotro pic . The prism's cross section is a circuJa.r sector having angle (0). A)l are coefficients of elasticity and 9 is the angle of twist per unit length
