Abstract

In this paper the existing results on robust stabilization of interval plants using special kinds of compensators are extended to that using general rational compensators. Such an extension is necessary because many interval (or nominal) plants can be stabilized only by generalized compensators. A sufficient condition is proposed, that is, the stability of four specified polynomials is sufficient to guarantee the stabilization of an interval plant
