Abstract

The author considers a subspace method to blindly estimate finite impulse response channels using redundancy-transform in transmitters. It is shown that the subspace method has a quadratic cost function. From this, computationally efficient methods to estimate the channel vector are derived. The sufficient conditions of channel identifiability are also considered.
