Abstract

Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) is a form of diabetes occurring during pregnancy which can result in short- and long-term adverse outcomes for women and babies. GDM is carbohydrate intolerance resulting in hyperglycemia with onset or first recognition during pregnancy. Accurate diagnosis allows appropriate treatment. A pre experimental one group pre-test post-test design with non-probability purposive sampling technique was used.
