Abstract

The reduction of level of joint pain has an important role in enabling effectiveness of Cryotherapy as an independent intervention. The objective of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of Cryotherapy on reduce level of Joint pain among working women. The research design adopted was Pre-experimental. The conceptual framework applied for this study was Wiendenbach theory. The study was conducted in Orthoplus hospital, Rajkot. The sample size was 40 as an intervention the Cryotherapy was administered for 7 days to each sample. The collected data were analyzed by using inferential statistical method. ANOVAs was used to evaluate the effectiveness of Cryotherapy on reduce level of Joint pain among patients admitted in orthopedic ward. The obtained ANOVAs value was 42.11. This showed significant at 0.001 level. Hence their findings of the study revealed that the Cryotherapy helps in reducing the levels of Joint pain among patients admitted in orthopedic ward with selected demographic variables.
