Abstract

Objective : To analyse the effect of Body Mass Index (BMI) on posture in industrial workers Materials&method : The study was included one hundred subjects, involved in industrial work for minimum of 5 years, age group ranging from 25 to 40 years. Plumb line, Rapid upper limb assessment score-sheet were used for static and dynamic postures measurement. Results : Multinomial logistic regression analysis test showed that static posture was not significantly affected by body mass index, however dynamic posture was significantly affected by body mass index. Conclusion : There is significant effect of body mass index on dynamic posture.
