Abstract
To reduce the weight of small electric vehicles and ensure driver safety when driving, the existing mild steel parts (dash panels) were treated with high-strength steel (780 MPa class) to secure collision safety and reduce weight. Several conclusions were drawn from analyses, springback predictions, and corrections. The overall shape was gently designed by applying the SPFC 780 Mpa 0.7 t material, and cracks occurred in some shapes according to the first molding analysis. If the springback correction analysis was used, the amount of springback generated was corrected such that the optimal result could be derived through the correction analysis of several orders. In terms of moldability, the actual molded product and the molding analysis result were almost similar.
