Abstract

Panel Data of each province from 2010 to 2019 were selected to conduct an empirical analysis of agricultural production efficiency in the Yangtze River Economic Belt based on a three-stage DEA model. The results show that environmental variables and random disturbances have significant effects on agricultural production efficiency; agricultural production efficiency in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River is higher than that in the upper reaches and downstream regions, showing certain regional characteristics; in general, the allocation of agricultural production resources in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is relatively reasonable; the current situation and causes of agricultural production efficiency are inconsistent among provinces and cities, and targeted agricultural reforms should be carried out closely with their own reality.
