Abstract

The purpose of this study is to suggest the necessary measures to improve the compulsory education of the resident representative organization. The contents of the study are as follows: First, it is analyzed the opinions of the residents about the role of the resident representative organization. Second, the education status is analyzed through the contents analysis. Third, it is find out the opinions on the compulsory education. For the research method, contents of 69 local governments were analyzed. Interviews and telephone surveys of civil servants and experts were conducted, and a survey was conducted of 102 residents. Results were as follows: (1) Improvement measures should be standardized education contents are required, and educational support system should be established. (2) It is necessary to expand the educational support function of the Central Multi-family Management Support Center. (3) The contents of community revitalization need to be strengthened in the education contents of the resident representative organization. (4) Increase participation rate by diversifying educational places and time. (5) Aggressive participation incentives are needed, such as incentives for subsidized housing. (6) It is necessary to develop and apply educational evaluation tools.
