Abstract

Lishu county is one of the main maize-producing areas on the well-known Maize Belt of the Songliao Plain in China. Although the natural conditions are advantageous to maize growth, agrometeorological disasters frequently occur and maize yield fluctuates over the years due to the effects of an unstable monsoon climate. In the paper, firstly, characteristics of fluctuation of maize yield are made quantitatively and assessed using the method of Crop yield-climate analysis. Secondly, the cycles of fluctuation of maize yield and meteorological disasters are analysed with using the method of Deviation, Spectrum analysis. Finally, for making father research on the dangerous extents to maize yield, meteorological disaster years are divided into different types through the method of Fuzzy mathematics. Based on the study, probabilities of disasters occurrence and degrees of reduction in maize yield are calculated, and correlation analysis on relationships among fluctuation of maize yield, disaster area and causing disaster area is carried out.
