Abstract

In the context of international development of vocational education, the research intended to find out the appropriate ways to improve students' intercultural communication competence in college English class and tended to analyze the effects of the teaching reform. 128 students were asked to participate in the survey after the new teaching design and SPSS data-process confirmed that this new teaching design was effective in upgrading students' intercultural communication competence. Consequently, the new and effective way of teaching needs to be carried out in broader context to improve vocational colleges students' intercultural communication competence.
