Abstract

이 연구는 영유아교사의 과학활동 관련 지식, 태도, 행동의 차원으로 과학 교과교육학지식, 과학적 태도, 과학교수 적극성을 선택하고, 이 변인들이 교사의 담당학급(영아반, 유아반), 경력, 학력에 따라 차이를 보이는지를 알아보았다. 어린이집 교사 208명을 대상으로 질문지 조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 삼원다변량분석과 삼원변량분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 영유아교사의 과학 교과교육학지식은 교사의 경력과 학력에 따라 차이를 보였고, 과학적 태도에서는 교사의 학력에 따른 차이가 나타나면서 동시에 유아교사에서 경력에 따른 차이가 나타났다. 영유아교사의 과학교수 적극성에는 학력에 따른 차이가 있었다. 이 연구결과는 영유아교사의 담당학급, 경력, 학력에 따른 교사교육 프로그램의 내용을 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.This study is aimed to identify whether there are any meaningful differences in infants and young children’s teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge of science teaching, scientific attitudes, science teaching intentions according to teachers’ class (infants vs. young children), career, and education level. To this end, we conducted questionnaire surveys on 208 educare teachers, and analyzed collected date through 3-way MANOVA and 3-way ANOVA. The results showed that the educare teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge of science teaching was different according to their career and education level. In their scientific attitudes, there was gap depending on their education level, and for only young children’s teachers, there was difference according to their career. In addition, the educare teachers’ science teaching intentions were varied depending on their education level. These results have implications in suggesting the content of teacher education program with necessary assistance for class, different career, and education level.
