Abstract
This study deals with the subject of landscape planting of detached housing area by the green space agreement. We surveyed actual condition of greenery and resident's consciousness of detached housing areas in Chiba City. The results are as follows; 1) The green space agreement is effectively improved on the greenery in the field of vision as well as the resident's consciousness. 2) The resident's understanding for the agreement is still insufficient. 3) Many residents hew down trees for rebuilding and expanding buildings. 3) The resident's feel burden in maintenance of greenery.
